Assertion analysis #7 Arthur Miller

A paradox is absurd it’s hard to talk about because it is hard to understand in some ways. It is almost never ending, everything just Contradicts itself making it almost impossible to be solved or find a solution for a paradox. Arthur Miller realized that “the Salem tragedy” was a huge paradox that kept on Contradicting itself with the witch hunting happening along with the panic being caused because of all these lies being created and people dying because of it. Using complex sentences Arthur Miller helps us understand how a paradox really works and how It connects with “the Salem tragedy”.      The paradox for Salem is a paradox because “all organization is and must be grounded on the idea of exclusion and prohibition, just as two objects cannot occupy the same space.” In the Salem people would start and spread lies just to say themselves, the truth could not be shared because that person would probably be accused of being a witch.  Witch hunti...

assertion analysis #9 Henry David Thoreau

Today’s Americans are not as intelligent compared to our ansestors, people have many different opinions on this topic. There is definitely a lot of arguments that could occur, like today’s Americans are definitely more intelligent because of all the amazing things that where accomplished, like cancer, back then cancer was basically a death sentence and most people had a very little chance of survival but these “non intelligent” Americans/people in today’s society have made patients with cancer lives more liveable and they can live a longer healthier life. On the other hand some can argue that today’s Americans are less intelligent then our ancestors because of the new things that our society Prioritizes  ,like our president Donald Trump, supposedly all of these immigrants are trying to get into the United States and if they come into America they will create all this chaos and danger. When people travel near the border there is literally almost no ...

Assertion analysis blog #3 trump

In Donald Trumps quote “American Dream: Perseverance”, be it taking about different ways you can get over or under the wall that he had built. Using different literary devices like imagery makes someone think a couple of things about trump and the purpose of him writing this quote. Using tone he try’s to create some type of fear towards the immagrants.      When reading the quote from Donald trump, the part when he says “ you can walk away from the wall, you can go over the wall, you can go under the wall, you can go around the wall, you can also obliterate the wall...and then let the positive outdistance the negative”. Trump is setting a satirical tone when saying all the different ways you could get over the wall. He makes it seem as if you can get over the wall, but he will catch you and send you back over that wall because he is more powerful then you, he wants you to think that you can go over the wall and not get caught, but he knows that you wi...
