      On September 7,2018 Barak Obama had went to university of Illinois to encourage students at the university to get out and vote. In his speech he uses a lot of shifts to get his message across. He starts of with I, you, they, we've, our, we, all of these shifts suggest that he wants the students of Illinois university to vote, along with, decent, honest, hardworking people, you.      The main thing that Barak Obama is diction. There are many times that he used diction to get his point across.      Tupac Shakur considered by many to be one of the best rappers of all time writing "Rose From Concrete"the quote that's very personal and has so much meaning to it,showing where he came from and what he had gone through in order to get where he was,to reach out to and certain group of people and show them that you can make something out of nothing.
